The Layton Technologies Aluminium Die Stripping System provides significant cost savings and important changes to the working environment. The system of processing dies is dramatically changed. Dies can be turned around quickly. Savings in caustic soda usage are made by aluminium recovery by part etching the dies and recovering the aluminium, which is normally fully dissolved, extending the service life of the caustic soda.
Waste disposal costs are reduced through re-cycling of the rinse water within the system and longer life of the caustic soda Exposure to hot caustic soda is eliminated, the process tank is loaded and unloaded with the process tank empty and clean, the process tank, dies and work basket are spray rinsed with clean town water at the end of every cycle. The capacity of the system can reduce the number of operators involved with die stripping and can work unattended with optional overhead programmable hoist.
